Insulation Piercing Connector (IPC)
A piercing connector enables a reliable electrical connection, insulation sealing, and mechanical fixation between a branch line and a main line without the need to strip the main line’s insulation. By mechanically piercing the insulation layers of both the main and branch conductors, it establishes direct contact with the conductors to form a secure electrical path.
Built-in sealing rings or sealing structures provide environmental protection at the piercing point, preventing water ingress, moisture, and dust. Piercing connectors offer extremely fast installation and low failure rates, significantly reducing reliance on highly skilled electricians.
